Day twelve

My laser-correction experience

In the first week, each day was dramatically different from the last. Week two is kinda boring as the changes have been much more gradual. I was spoiled by the quick progress of week one and now I'm getting a little impatient. My right eye is really coming along. Everything is very sharp. It just takes a moment to focus when viewing things at various distances. But for that to happen, I need to close my left eye. If I don't, the sharpness never comes. My left eye is still pretty blurry and has some ghosting. By the end of the day, my eyes are pretty tired from all the ocular gymnastics.

I've noticed some interesting psychological adjustments this week. Last week was beautiful weather and my eyes were still pretty light sensitive. So I wore sunglasses whenever I was outside and sometimes indoors too. This week there's been some rainy, overcast weather and I haven't needed sunglasses. It's a little weird to drive without glasses...sorta like you forgot to put underwear on. I also noticed it takes me a few to shake off the desire to go back to bed in the morning. Up until last week, glasses off meant either bed or shower. That reminds me...I need to get the corrective lenses restriction off my driver's license.
