Day two

My laser-correction experience

I'm hoping that folks looking to build expectations from the experience of others will still find this helpful despite a pretty uneventful day two. I'm still feeling pretty good today. There's no real discomfort beyond the blurry vision. I saw my regular eye doctor today and everything looked good. She was somewhat concerned that the bandage contacts didn't seem to be moving at all and were gluing to my eyes. She told me to make sure I put in drops in every 30 minutes. I had only been putting them in when my eyes felt dry, which wasn't that often.

Tomorrow should be fun. I signed up for an all-day advanced motorcycle training class about six weeks ago. When I scheduled the surgery, I planned on having lasik done and being in good shape to do this class two days later. Switching to the PRK complicates that a little. I called the training people today and it will cost me $75 to reschedule. So I'm going to give it a go and keep my appointment.
